Asian inspired salmon patty w/sauce

Recipe Ingredients for Salmon Patty w/Asian Sauce

2 can Salmon, Pink
6 serving 100% Whole Wheat Sliced Bread
1 large Egg, Whole
5 medium (4-1/8" long) Onions, Spring Or Scallions
1/2 cup Water Chestnuts (Sliced)
1/4 cup Coriander Leaves
2 tbsp Mayonnaise
1 1tsp Oil, Sesame
1 tbsp Soy Sauce
6 tsp Ginger Root
3 1tsp Olive Oil

Recipe Directions for Salmon Patty w/Asian Sauce

  1. Make sauce by mixing mayo, grated ginger root, sesame oil & soy sauce. Set aside to marry.

  2. Debone & remove the skin from the salmon after draining. & put in large bowl.

  3. Cut the crusts off the bread and give a whirl in the food processor to fine crumbs. Put in bowl with salmon.

  4. Finely chop scallions, water chestnuts & cilantro & add to bowl. Mix well.

  5. Make 6 patties and cook five minutes each side in saucepan with 1.5 teaspoon olive oil.

  6. Keep warm while cooking second batch. & serve with sauce.
