Recipe Ingredients for Salmon Patties

15 ounces canned salmon
1 onion
1 green pepper
1 1/2 T olive oil
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1/2 cup cooked oatmeal
1/4 cup 1% milk
2 tsp cumin
1 Salt and pepper to taste

Recipe Directions for Salmon Patties

  1. Remove salmon from can. Clean thoroughly.

  2. Saute onion and green pepper in olive oil until onion is translucent.

  3. Add salmon and mix well.

  4. Add spices.

  5. Form into 6 patties.

  6. Dip each side of each patty into milk, then bread crumbs.

  7. Cook each patty on a non-stick skillet with medium low heat. Cook about 8 minutes on each side, or until lightly brown.
