Recipe Ingredients for Salmon Patties

1 cup breadcrumbs, seasoned
1 large egg
7 1/2 oz. salmon
1/3 cup milk
1/2 t lemon juice
1/4 t salt
1 T parsley
1 T onion, chopped
1 dash pepper
1 T oil, for frying

Recipe Directions for Salmon Patties

  1. Break egg into bowl, beat. Add 3/4 cup of the breadcrumbs, salmon, milk, lemon juice, parsley, salt, pepper, and chopped onion. Mix well.

  2. Shape mixture into 4 patties, each 3 inches in diameter. Dip each patty in the remaining breadcrumbs, turning the patty on all sides to coat.

  3. Put enough oil into a large, heavy-bottomed skillet to cover the bottom. Heat oil over medium heat until hot. Fry patties until golden brown in color, about 5-6 minutes per side, turning only once. Drain on paper towels, serve immediately.
