Recipe Ingredients for Salmon Oven-Baked with Garlic Dressing Glaze

1 lb salmon fillets, skin on
1/4 tsp lemon pepper seasoning (low salt or no salt)
2 tbs Extra Virgin Olive Oil, light
1 cup fat-free mayonnaise (olive oil & mayonnaise is better)
2 tbs low sodium soy sauce
1 tbs garlic, minced
1 tbs ginger, grated

Recipe Directions for Salmon Oven-Baked with Garlic Dressing Glaze

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

  2. Rinse salmon fillets in cold water and pat dry. Season both sides with no salt or low salt lemon & pepper seasoning. Lay fillets skin down on baking pan lined with sheet of foil or parchment paper. Bake 15-20 minutes until flesh breaks easily with a fork.

  3. Meanwhile, in small bowl, mix light or fat free mayonnaise (mayo with olive oil is good, too) with fresh minced garlic and fresh grated ginger. Add low sodium or no sodium soy sauce to mixture and blend well.

  4. Generously spread mixture onto baked salmon fillets. Return baking pan to oven, placing pan on the upper middle rack. Broil for 3 minutes or until crust turns golden brown.

  5. Serve immediately with side of green vegetables. Broccoli or roasted asparagus is nice.
