Makes 6 servings



1 can salmon means a large (454 gr) can, or 2 small cans. Two cans of tuna mean small cans (170 gr). 20 crackers is 20 2x2 individual crackers.

Recipe Ingredients for Salmon Loaf

426 grams (canned) salmon, Solids With Bone And Liquid
2 cans tuna, light, packed in water
3/4 cup minced onion
1 tsp dill, dry
2 eggs
2 tsp lemon juice
1 1/2 tsp worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup milk, 2%
20 saltine crackers

Recipe Directions for Salmon Loaf

  1. Crush crackers to crumbs. Beat eggs, then add to cracker crumbs.

  2. Mash the salmon bones well with a fork if you don't like the optics, but leave them in because they are healthy!

  3. Mix all ingredients together with the eggs and crumbs.

  4. Bake at 325 degrees (covered with foil) for 15 minutes, then remove foil and bake for 30 - 35 minutes more.
