Easy to throw together and toss in the oven, A great wayt to add calcium and omega 3's to your diet. Also quite rich in Vitamin D

Recipe Ingredients for Salmon Loaf

2 cans pink salmon
1 whole egg
1 egg white
1 cup bread crumbs, Italian Style
1/2 cup non fat yogurt, plain
8 ounces mushrooms
1/2 large onion
1/2 large green pepper
2 tbs wheat bran
1 tbs Canola oil

Recipe Directions for Salmon Loaf

  1. Saute Veggies in Canola oil

  2. combine rest of ingredients meatloaf style

  3. I usually use cottage cheese but got a bad tub this time so I used yogurt instead.

  4. can also use Red Salmon

  5. good seasonings include, basil, marjoram, thyme, rosemary.. season to your own taste.

  6. bake at 350 for about 45 minutes to an hour.

  7. can make a bashemel (white) sauce if you like, but I think it is best plain with some veggies and maybe a bit of pasta.
