Salmon and lentil salad. Main Course

Recipe Ingredients for Salmon and lentil salad

250 g salmon, pink
2 teaspoons cumin seed
100 g beans, snap, green - raw
100 g lentils - green or brown, dried
2 tomatoes, red, ripe - raw
2 tablespoons basil, fresh
2 tablespoons lemon juice
6 medium spring onions

Recipe Directions for Salmon and lentil salad

  1. Sprinkle the 2 salmon fillets with cumin seeds and bake in the oven

  2. Chop the fine green beans and cook in boiling water for 10 minutes

  3. Drain and to the warm pan add the lentils (or use a can of drained green lentils), the tomatoes (chopped), the chopped basil, lemon juice and chopped spring onions

  4. Warm very gently

  5. Pile onto two plates and place the salmon on the top

  6. Serve with lemon wedges
