Salmon Kedgeree Recipe

Kedgeree is a traditional British dish usually made with smoked haddock and served for breakfast. But I prefer this milder version with canned salmon as a simple dinner.

Recipe Ingredients for salmon kedgeree

3 T butter
3 tsp olive oil
2 brown onions, peeled & diced
1 cup raw spinach
3 c cooked rice
3 T Curry Powder
14 oz Salmon Pink Canned
6 hard boiled eggs, peeled & halved lengthwise

Recipe Directions for salmon kedgeree

  1. Melt butter in a large frying pan. Add oil, onion and celery. Cover and cook over a medium heat, stirring occasionally until soft but not browned.

  2. Stir though rice, curry powder and salmon. Taste, season and allow to warm through.

  3. Remove from the heat and stir through parley if using. Top with eggs.
