Recipe Ingredients for Salmon Burgers

1 cup chopped Red Onion
1/4 cup leaves, whole Basil, Fresh
0.25 tsp Salt, Table
0.25 tsp Pepper, Black
4 serving Wild-Caught Pink Salmon
3 tsp Hot Sauce Louisiana
1 large Egg, White
6 oz Foccacia, Rosemary Tomato Breads

Recipe Directions for Salmon Burgers

  1. Combine red onion, fresh basil, salt, black pepper, and salmon in a large bowl. Combine hot pepper sauce and egg white in a small bowl; and egg white mixture to salmon mixutre, stirring well to combine.

  2. Divide mixture into 4 equal portions, shaping each into a 1/2 inch thick patty. Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat; coat with cooking spray. Add salmon patties, and cook 3 minutes on each side or until desired degree of doneness. Serve patties on toasted foccacia.
