ground wild salmon 350 grams = 5 burgers NOTE: must add bun and butter separately

Recipe Ingredients for Salmon Burger, CB Made

350 grams salmon, ground
7 saltine crackers
10 grams oatbran
1 egg
1/2 tsp dill weed, dried
1 onion, medium
1 tsp olive oil

Recipe Directions for Salmon Burger, CB Made

  1. Dice onion fine and saute in the olive oil until just starting to cook but still has some bite.

  2. Crush the saltines to a fine crumb.

  3. Beat egg, add dill and about 3 tsp of water, and mix all together. Add the salmon, then toss in the finely crushed saltines.

  4. Add the sauteed onion: make sure they are quite cool before adding.

  5. These freeze very well: freeze individually so they can be separated as required.

  6. Make into 5 patties.
