A healthy melt-in-your-mouth sandwich that is high in protein, fiber, and nutrients.

Recipe Ingredients for Salmon Avocado Sandwich

4 slices whole wheat bread
2 tsp Dijon mustard
6 oz. canned salmon
1 tbsp mayonnaise
1 pinch of ground black pepper
1 sliced tomato
1 cup mixed greens (spinach or mixed)
1/2 avocado

Recipe Directions for Salmon Avocado Sandwich

Toast the bread in a toaster. Lay them flat on a clean counter, and spread with Dijon mustard. Mix salmon, mayonnaise, and black pepper together until creamy and chunky. Spread on top of Dijon mustard. Layer with tomato slices and fresh salad greens. Using a fork, mash the avocado until smooth. Spread the other bread slice with the avocado. Place the avocado bread on top of the other bread slice. Cut diagonally and enjoy!
