Recipe Ingredients for salisbury steak

1 1/2 pounds of ground beef
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon dried marjoram leaves
1/8 teaspoon pepper
6 cups gravy
3 ounces fresh mushrooms

Recipe Directions for salisbury steak

  1. combine ground beef, salt, marjoram, and pepper in large bowl.

  2. divide meat into 6 portions about 3/4 inches thick.

  3. broil salisbury steak 3 inches from heat for 3 to 4 minutes; turn and broil other side for 4 minutes.

  4. prepare gravy mix as package directs add the mushrooms to the gravy.

  5. heat through and pour over patties
