this is a great vegitarian meal to have next to a salad. well rounded and makes you feel good. it is ofr penne noodles but the food log here doesnt have penne noodles in it. please make sure to use those. you need teh ridges to catch all the goodness in them.

Recipe Ingredients for sage spinach noodles

456 g 1 pound whole wheat organic penne noodles. these egg noodles were the closest in the food browser
11 g 1/3 cup dried sage or one cup PACKED full fresh leaves. it is so good with fresh
30 g 1 cup chopped fresh spinach. I have used frozen too. worked out well
9 g 3 cloves fresh garlic. I use more than this you can too.
54 g 1/4 cup EVOO. the recepie calls for 1/2 cup but it really is too much
11 g 1 TBS lemon juice
56 g parmisian cheese

Recipe Directions for sage spinach noodles

  1. Prepare the penne noodles as the package sais too.

  2. While those are cooking place the fresh sage and the spinach into a food processor with the garlic and start to blend as you drizzel in the oil whip it untill it is mixed well and is creamy. add in the Lemon jiuce and blend it till it looks like a ceasar salad dressing.

  3. lastly put in the cheese and blend it well.

  4. once the noodles are finnished and drained place them in a large bowl and toss the spinnach dressing over the noodles.

  5. eat. it is so good one that your family will enjoy vegitarian or not.
