Country Style Pork Ribs cooked with citrus, cumin, & garlic

Recipe Ingredients for Sabroso Pork

15 oz Country style spare ribs (meat only)
150 g Onion (1L)
2 t salt
3 t Cumin seed (yes more)
1 1/2 c Baby Carrots
1 T lemon juice
1 T lime juice
1 t black pepper
9 g Garlic (3 cloves at least)

Recipe Directions for Sabroso Pork

  1. Add carrots and chopped onions to slow cooker

  2. Place meat on top of veggies

  3. Sprinkle with salt and cumin - Adobo works in place of the salt for more flavor

  4. Crush garlic over the meat

  5. Sprinkle the lime and lemon juice over the meat and veggies - more is ok

  6. If possible marinate the meat in the spices and juice overnight before putting in slow cooker

  7. This is experimental - I am having it tonight!
