Rye Flour Cookies Recipe

Originally a muffin recipe, I rolled them like cookies and baked them on a baking sheet. The batter is a tad too dense to pour. After baking and trying these out, I think it would be best as a sweet bread. The yogurt can be replaced with water or milk or fruit juice. Dried raisins can be replaced with any kind of dried fruit.

Recipe Ingredients for Rye Flour Cookies

2 cups rye flour
4 tsp baking powder
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup yogurt
2 tbsp honey
2 tbsp raspberry jam
4 tbsp Sunflower Oil
1/2 cup Raisins, Seedless

Recipe Directions for Rye Flour Cookies

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 400 F or 204 C.

  2. Mix the dry ingredients.

  3. In a seperate bowl, mix the wet ingredients.

  4. Combine the dry and wet mixtures.

  5. Add the dried fruit.

  6. Cook for about 15 minutes.
