Recipe Ingredients for Rye Bread

1 1/3 cups water
3 tbls butter
2 2/3 cups flour
1 1/3 cup rye flour
3 tbls brown sugar
1 tsp salt
1 1/4 tsp yeast

Recipe Directions for Rye Bread

  1. Add ingredients to bread maching according to the manufacturer's directions. If available, select the whole grain cycle, or select the basic white bread cycle.

  2. Option: Use dough cycle in bread machine and place dough in greased bread pan or on baking stone in preferred shape. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Remove loaf from baking pan or stone immediately to cooling rack. Brush butter over warm loaf.
