Recipe Ingredients for Rustic low cal Applesauce

2 medium (2-3/4" dia) (approx 3 per lb) Apples
4 oz Water
0.5 tsp Cinnamon, Ground

Recipe Directions for Rustic low cal Applesauce

Peel and core apples. Chop into small pieces and place in saucepan with a good fitting lid. Add water just enough to keep apples moist while cooking but don't cover. Add cinnamon and stir to combine. Cover and simmer until the apples are tender. Remove from heat to cool and mash to desired texture.
