Recipe Ingredients for Rustic bread

2 c whole wheat flour
3 c flour
1 1/2 t salt
1/4 t yeast
1 1/2 c water

Recipe Directions for Rustic bread

  1. bloom yeast in 1/4 c water with 1/4 tsp yeast

  2. 75degrees

  3. mix flours and water, add yeast mixture let raise over night or 12 hrs turn out onto floured board and knead a couple times put cornmeal on cloth and cover, let raise 3 hrs. Put into heated cast iron pot and bake at 450 for 30 mins. remove cover and bake another 15 mins
