Recipe Ingredients for Rustic bread

400 grams bread flour
300 grams water
8 grams salt
1 gram yeast

Recipe Directions for Rustic bread

  1. Mix ingredients

  2. Set aside to ferment for 12 to 18 hours

  3. Remove from bowl, stretch and fold into a ball.

  4. Place in a tea towel. Let rise for 2 hours

  5. Pre-heat oven to 475. Place a Dutch oven inside to preheat.

  6. Cook bread, covered in preheated dutch oven for 30 minutes. Uncover and cook another 15 to 20 minutes until brown.
