Recipe Ingredients for Rustic Barley and chicken soup

15 oz Perdue Tender Chicken
200 g onions sliced
300 g carrots
200 g celery
4 cups brocoli
2 cups turnip
3 cups cabbage
1/2 cup green beans
50 g scallion
14 oz black beans
1 cup barley
60 g lemon
1 tbsp olive oil
3 tsp jalapeno
1 tbsp ginger
1 tsp red pepper flake
2 tbsp red wine vinegar
10 g bouillion
30 g tomato paste
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp garlic powder
4 g cilantro
1 tsp curry powder
8 cups water
600 mg salt

Recipe Directions for Rustic Barley and chicken soup

  1. Fry onions and chicken till brown in olive oil

  2. Cut and add vegetables and stir fry for couple of minutes

  3. Add seasonings, stock and water

  4. simmer for 20 minutes

  5. refrigerate in individual servings after soup cools
