Makes about 12 pancakes, each approximately 2 inches in diameter. Can also make larger pancakes, but serving size will vary.

Recipe Ingredients for Russian Pancakes

1 cup Wheat Flour, White, All-purpose, Enriched, Bleached
1 cup Lowfat Vanilla
1 large Egg, Whole
8 tsp Sugars, Granulated
2 tbsp Vegetable Oil, Canola
0.5 tsp Baking Soda

Recipe Directions for Russian Pancakes

  1. Mix flour, yogurt, raw egg, and baking soda in a bowl.

  2. Add 2 tbs vegetable oil to frying pan and warm on medium heat.

  3. Place one tbs (or a larger amount if larger pancakes are desired) of the mix into the frying pan to make a single pancake. Number of pancakes cooked simultaneously will depend on frying pan size.
