Adapted into bars and recipe doubled from runners scones.

Recipe Ingredients for Runner's Bars

1 cup natural peanut butter
2 cups brown sugar
4 scoops protein powder
2 eggs
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup water
4 tbsp. honey
1 tsp baking soda
2 tsp salt
2 cups wheat flour
6 cups Oats, Rolled, Regular Old Fashioned
4 tbsp flax seed
1 1/2 cups Organic Dark Chocolate Chips

Recipe Directions for Runner's Bars

  1. Preheat oven to 350. Mix the peanut butter, brown sugar, vanilla, protein powder, eggs, milk, and water until very creamy.

  2. Mix in the honey, baking soda, salt, flour, oats, flax seed, and dried fruit or chocolate chips.

  3. Spread evenly in a large, greased, cookie sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes.

  4. When cool, use a pizza cutter to evenly cut into bars.
