Delicious Ruben sandwich (1/2 a sandwich is one serving)

Recipe Ingredients for Ruben Sandwich

2 slices Oroweat Russian Rye bread
2 oz Swiss Cheese , sliced
1/2 cup sauerkraut, drained
28 g lean deli style pastrami , about 3 slices
1 tsp Canola oil

Recipe Directions for Ruben Sandwich

  1. Assemble Ruben sandwich: Put the three deli thin pastrami slices, drained sauerklraut and swiss cheese between the two slices of rye bread.

  2. Coat fring pan with canola oil (or spray) and preheat on medium.

  3. Fry sandwich on both sides, melting the cheese.

  4. Cut in half. Each half sandwich is about 250 caloriers.
