Spicy rubbed seared chicken breast

Recipe Ingredients for Rubbed Chicken Breast

2 Chicken Breast
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon fresh rosemary, finely chopped
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 pinch red pepper flakes
1 pinch salt

Recipe Directions for Rubbed Chicken Breast

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

  2. Combine the cumin, garlic clove, the rosemary, lemon juice, the red pepper flakes, 1 teaspoon olive oil and a pinch salt in a small bowl. Gently massage the spice rub all over the bird.

  3. Coat skillet with 1 tablespoon olive oil and heat of over medium heat. Sear each side of the chicken breast to golden brown, about 5-7 minutes per side. Transfer chicken breasts to a cooking sheet and bake in oven about 10 minutes, until the internal temperature on a meat thermometer is 165 degrees.
