Round Steak With Mushroom Soup Gravy

Recipe Ingredients for Round Steak With Mushroom Soup Gravy

1 1/2 lb round steak
21 ounce cream of mushroom soup
10 1/2 ounce water
1 medium onion
1/4 cup all purpose flour
1 tbsp canola oil

Recipe Directions for Round Steak With Mushroom Soup Gravy

  1. Cut off fat from round steak and cut into 3 x 3 inch pieces.

  2. Add oil to skillet, Dredge in flour and brown both sides in skillet for 2 minutes.

  3. Whisk water and mushroom soup together in a bowl, then pour just enough to thinly coat the bottom of a 13 x 9 pan.

  4. Place the pieces of round steak evenly around the pan.

  5. Cut onion into slices and place them evenly on top of the meat.

  6. Add desired spices to meat.

  7. Pour the rest of the mushroom soup mix on top of the round steak and onions.

  8. Cover with foil and bake at 325 degrees for 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
