135 grams ham
6 carrots
3 onions
3 tablespoon olive oil
2 quarts vegetable broth
1 lb tomatos
5 celery stalks
3 quarts water
6 leaves swiss chard

Recipe Directions for rough approximation 13 bean soup calories

  1. rinse and soak bean mix overnight in 1.5 gal water

  2. carmelize the onions night before

  3. cut fat off ham shank.

  4. add everything to slow cooker with appropriate herbs (thyme, bay, oregano, garlic)

  5. cook all day 6 hours plus some more

  6. cut meat off of shank and mix back into soup

  7. chiffonade of chard at last 10 minutes
