Homemade chicken stock slighty thickened with vegetables, whole wheat Rotini and Chicken. Even better the day after it is made.

Recipe Ingredients for Rotini, Peas and Chicken

8 oz whole wheat Rotini
4 carrots
1 cup chopped celery
1 quart chicken stock
2 tablespoons corn starch
1 1/2 cup peas
1 cup chicken

Recipe Directions for Rotini, Peas and Chicken

  1. Cook Carrots and celery in chicken stock with chicken (about 20 minutes)

  2. Disolve Cornstarch in a small amount of cold water then add to chicken stock to thicken slightly

  3. Add peas

  4. Add cooked Rotini

  5. Heat through

  6. Even Better the next day after Rotini absorbs moe of the broth.

  7. Season with pepper.
