this is a very hardy soup that tastes great and is cheap and easy to put together.

Recipe Ingredients for Rosemary Lentil Soup

2 medium carrots, diced
1 small onion, diced
4 tbsp rosemary, dry
1 clove garlic, diced
1 lb lentils
14 1/2 oz diced tomatoes
3 cups kale, chopped
8 cups chicken broth
3 tbsp tomato paste

Recipe Directions for Rosemary Lentil Soup

  1. heat oil in bottom of large pot.

  2. Sautee carrots, onion, garlic and rosemary until soft

  3. Add hot water, chicken bouillon cubes, diced tomatoes, kale and lentils.

  4. Bring to boil

  5. Reduce heat and simmer until lentils have reached the desired tenderness.
