Recipe Ingredients for Romanian Eggplant salad/spread

4 eggplants
1 salt
40 g mayonnaise
12 slices bread
1/4 onion (according to your taste)

Recipe Directions for Romanian Eggplant salad/spread

  1. Grill (or bake) eggplants (15-20 mins) Insert a fork/toothpick to see if they are done

  2. Peel the skin after baked. Squeeze the eggplants of their juice. Mash them.

  3. Add salt, grated onion( you can use garlic instead if you prefer). Add mayonnaise.

  4. Spread on bread slice. You can add tomato slices if wanted.
