Recipe Ingredients for Rogers Whole Wheat Bread/Buns

9 cup Rogers Bread Flour "Whole Wheat Bread Flour"
2 oz Yeast
3 tbsp Honey Squeezable
2 tbsp Molasses Fancy
1/2 cup Vegetable Oil, Canola
2 large Egg, Whole
1 fl oz Lemon Juice
2 tsp Kosher Salt

Recipe Directions for Rogers Whole Wheat Bread/Buns

  1. Measure 3 cups warm water, honey molasses, oil, beaten eggs & lemon juice.

  2. Stir yeast into the flour and gradually add 5 cups of flour.

  3. Beat vigorously after each addition.

  4. Let stand 15 minutes until mixture is very light. Stir in salt & remaining flour to make a soft workable dough.

  5. Place dough in greased bowl and cover & let rise for 50 min. or until doubled.

  6. Punch down and shape into 4 round balls.

  7. Cover & let rest 20 min.

  8. Form into loaves & place in greased 81/2" x 41/2 " loaf pans

  9. Brush tops with oil.

  10. Cover & let rise 50-55 min.

  11. Bake in 375 degree oven 30-40 min.

  12. Remove from pans & cool on a wire rack
