Recipe Ingredients for Rocky Road Crunch Bars (Nigella Lawson)

200 g digestive biscuits
300 g dark chocolate
3 tbsp golden syrup
125 g unsalted butter
100 g mini marshmallows

Recipe Directions for Rocky Road Crunch Bars (Nigella Lawson)

  1. Melt butter, chocolate and syrup over a low heat.

  2. Pour off 125ml (4fl oz) of the mixture and set aside.

  3. Break up biscuits so some are in crumbs but there are some chucnks left.

  4. Stir biscuits into chocolate mix, then add marshmallows.

  5. Pour into 9-10" square tin, lined with greaseproof paper, and refrigerate for several hours or overnight.

  6. Cut into 24 squares and sprinkle with icing sugar before serving.
