my homemade chili that I make and lasts for a few days. nice and thick! healthy too!

Recipe Ingredients for Robin's homemade veggie chili

2 tablespoons canola oil
1 medium onion, diced
1 medium red bell pepper, diced
6 cloves garlic, minced
12 oz Yves Ground Meat
28 oz San Marzano tomatoes
1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon oregano
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons brown sugar (optional)

Recipe Directions for Robin's homemade veggie chili

Heat oil in big pot. Brown onions, bell peppers, garlic until cooked through but still firm. Brown ground meat. Add tomatoes, with juice along with herbs and spices, brown sugar, red wine vinegar, and butter. If you like your chili to be less thick, add vegetable or low-sodium chicken broth until desired consistency is achieved. Cover and let simmer for 20 minutes.
