Recipe Ingredients for Robin's Homemade Chili

6 cups dried pinto beans
16 oz. hamburger
1/2 c. chopped onion
15 oz. canned tomatoe sauce
6 medium chopped tomatoes
2 tbsp. chili powder

Recipe Directions for Robin's Homemade Chili

  1. Pre-cook dried pinto beans according to pkg. directions. Then, drain enough to keep fluid level with top of beans.

  2. Brown hamburger, add chopped onions toward end. Cook a few more minutes until onions start to become translucent. Sir in chopped tomatoes, tomatoe sauce and chili powder. Add to pot of drained beans. Simmer 30-60 mins.

  3. Serving size is about 1 cup.

  4. Frreze extra servings in portion size containers.
