Green beans roasted with garlic and ginger and topped with sesame seeds

Recipe Ingredients for Roasted Sesame Green Beans

1 lb green beans, ends trimmed
1 tbsp olive oil
1 Salt and pepper to taste
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tsp fresh ginger, minced
2 tsp honey
1/2 tsp toasted sesame oil
1/4 tsp crushed red pepper
4 tsp sesame seeds, toasted

Recipe Directions for Roasted Sesame Green Beans

  1. Preheat over to 450 degrees. Line baking sheet with aluminum foil and spread beans in single layer. Drizzle with oil, sprinkle with salt and pepper, and toss to coat evenly. Roast 10 minutes.

  2. While beans are roasting, combine next five ingredients (garlic through red pepper) in small bowl.

  3. Remove beans from oven, and coat with garlic mixture. Redistribute in single layer and return to oven. Roast another 10-12 minutes. Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds and serve.
