I used walnut oil to give it more depth, but any oil will do to roast your garlic and pepper

Recipe Ingredients for roasted red pepper and garlic hummus

15 oz. chickpeas, rinsed and drained
2 tbsp. lemon juice
2 tbsp. tahini (sesame paste)
1/2 tsp. salt
1 peppers, red , roasted
12 cloves garlic, roasted
1 tbls oil, walnut

Recipe Directions for roasted red pepper and garlic hummus

  1. drizzle oil over pepper and head of garlic. bake at 350 till roasted.

  2. peal skin off of pepper and add to food processor

  3. squeeze head of garlic like a zit till you get the cloves out. add to processor.

  4. add the rest of the ingredients to food processor.blend till smooth.

  5. divide into 12 portion cups [2 ounces each} I buy mine at smart and final, but any restaurant supply will have them.

  6. refrigerate untill your late for work and need to grab one on the fly.
