Recipe Ingredients for Roasted Corn Grits

2 cups water
2 cups heavy cream
1 cup grits
1 tsp. salt
1 cup butter, cut in tablespoons
1 ear,+large+7-3/4"+to+9"+long+yields corn

Recipe Directions for Roasted Corn Grits

Roast the corn and cut from ear. If you use canned, drain it, lay it out in one layer on a cookie sheet and broil it. Boil the water and cream. Whisk in the grits and salt til thickened. Stir in the butter. Add the roasted corn, stir vigorously.
