Good healthy snack with lots of protein

Recipe Ingredients for Roasted ChickPeas

14 1/2 oz chickpeas
1 teaspoon olive oil
1/4 teaspoon salt (1/2 will be very salty. - Kris)
5 dashes cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon cumin

Recipe Directions for Roasted ChickPeas

  1. 1) Drain and rinse the chickpeas. Heat the oven to 425 degrees F. Put the chickpeas on a baking sheet, and roast for 20 minutes. Shake them a little bit half way through.

  2. 2) Take them out and put into a bowl. Add the oil and the spices, as much as you want, and mix well. Turn the chickpeas back onto the baking sheet, and back in the oven for another 5-15 minutes. They're done when they're bronzed and VERY crunchy. (Some came out a bit softer, and those were very much inferior.)
