Recipe Ingredients for Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Balsamic Vinegar (0.6 Cal/gm)

1 1/2 pounds Brussels sprouts, cut in half
1 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
2 cloves garlic, chopped
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar

Recipe Directions for Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Balsamic Vinegar (0.6 Cal/gm)

  1. 1/2 pounds Brussels sprouts, cut in half

  2. 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

  3. 2 cloves garlic, chopped

  4. Zest 2 oranges

  5. 2 tablespoons good quality balsamic vinegar (Aged 2-3 years)

  6. Salt and black pepper

  7. Pre-heat oven 425 degrees convection

  8. Place a heavy gauge sheet pan in the oven to pre-heat about 10 minutes. Place the sprouts in a bowl and toss with the olive oil, season with salt and black pepper. Place on the hot sheet pan do not stack. Cook about 6 minutes or until al dente depending on the size of the sprouts. Remove from the oven and place in a bowl add garlic, orange, and vinegar and toss well. Serve warm.
