Recipe Ingredients for Roasted Broccoli with Parmesan

1 pounds broccoli florets
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp parmesan cheese

Recipe Directions for Roasted Broccoli with Parmesan

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Peel the tough skin from the stems of the broccoli with a vegetable peeler. Cut broccoli into half inch thick strips. Cover a rimmed baking sheet with foil. Place broccoli in a single layer on top of baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Place on top rack of oven and bake for 15 to 20 minutes. Remove from oven, sprinkle parmesan cheese and serve.
