An easy, tasty way to cook broccoli - frozen or fresh!

Recipe Ingredients for Roasted Broccoli (with Garlic)

16 oz frozen broccoli, pieces
2 T. olive oil
6 cloves garlic (optional)

Recipe Directions for Roasted Broccoli (with Garlic)

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

  2. If including garlic, peel cloves and cut in half.

  3. Toss 16 oz. bag of frozen broccoli pieces with olive oil (and garlic pieces).

  4. Spread out in a single layer on a cookie sheet.

  5. Roast in 400 degree oven for 30 - 40 minutes*. Florets should be slightly browned and crispy.

  6. NOTES: a) Fresh broccoli can be used instead of frozen. b) Can be cooked at higher temperature for shorter time: 450 degrees for 20 - 25 minutes.
