Recipe Ingredients for Roast Pork and Sausage Casserole

900 g Pork, Fresh, Shoulder, Whole
800 g canned tomatoes
4 cloves garlic
1 1/2 medium red onion
400 g sausage
62 g back bacon
1 tsp sugar

Recipe Directions for Roast Pork and Sausage Casserole

  1. Fry bacon in reserved pork fat from pork roast

  2. add garlic and onion, keep frying until onion translucent

  3. add sausages, brown slightly

  4. add tomatoes and sugar

  5. place in 130 C oven for 2.5 - 3 hours

  6. You may add fresh or dried herbs when the garlic and onion go in for frying.
