Plain risotto - no meat or cheese

Recipe Ingredients for Risotto

2 tablespoons butter
1 onion
1 cup white wine
4 cups chicken broth
1 1/3 cups arborio rice

Recipe Directions for Risotto

  1. cook onion in butter

  2. add rice, cook until it's clear

  3. add wine, cook until the alcohol is cooked off/it's soaked up

  4. add chicken broth one cup at a time, simmer until all liquid is soaked up
