Recipe Ingredients for Rick Bayless Tangy Peanut-Avocado Salsa - 1/4 Cup Serving

2 T roasted peanuts
2 Serrano peppers, stemmed, roughly chopped
1/3 c Cilantro, rough chopped & loosely packed
2 T fresh lime juice
1 avocado, ripe, roughly chopped

Recipe Directions for Rick Bayless Tangy Peanut-Avocado Salsa - 1/4 Cup Serving

  1. Combine peanuts, chiles, cilantro, lime juice and 1/2 cup water in blender. Process until completely smooth.

  2. Add avocado and pulse until thoroughly blended.

  3. Add salt to taste (usually about 1/2 tsp. and thin with additional water to desired consistency.
