Simple pizza sauce that is great for dipping

Recipe Ingredients for Rich Pizza Sauce

6 oz tomato paste
10 3/4 oz tomato puree
1 cup water
2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
2 teaspoons Garlic Salt, (McCormick & Company, Inc.) California Style Garlic Salt
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper
1 1/2 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
1/2 tablespoon balsamic vinegar

Recipe Directions for Rich Pizza Sauce

  1. Pour all ingredients in a sauce pan, and stir with a wire whip to mix

  2. Heat on low heat until just simmering

  3. Use right away or store covered in refrigerator.

  4. Tip: use part of the water to get tomato paste and tomato puree out of the cans.
