Recipe Ingredients for Rice Verde

2 cup Short Grain Brown Rice
4 oz Cilantro
1 tbsp Olive Oil
4 cup (8 fl oz) Water
3 oz Lime Juice
2 clove Garlic
1 tsp Kosher Salt

Recipe Directions for Rice Verde

Bring water and rice to a boil in a 2qt heavy iron covered casserole with a teaspoon of salt. While the pan is heating up chop up cilantro and garlic fine. Once boiling add all of the ingredients stir and cover. Turn flame down to as low as it will go and set your timer for 1 hour. Check to make sure the rice is soft. Give the rice a stir and serve!
