Recipe Ingredients for rice and spinach baked with cream

3/4 cup heavy whipping cream
1 cup uncooked jasmine rice
2 tbs olive oil
3/4 cup cooked spinach
1/4 tsp thyme
1 pinch nutmeg
1/2 cups onion, diced
2 cloves garlic
1 bouillon cube
2 1/2 cups water

Recipe Directions for rice and spinach baked with cream

  1. preheat oven to 375

  2. saute onion, garlic with olive oil

  3. add rice and cook until oil is well absorbed

  4. add water, bouillon cube, thyme and nutmeg and spinach

  5. bring to a boil and let boil for few minutes stiring to combine everything well.

  6. cover and put into oven for 15 minutes or until rice is tender and water absorbed.

  7. remove and stir in cream.

  8. replace pot to the oven uncovered and cook for an additional 5-10 minutes

  9. serve warm
