My chinese style rice with veg and soy sauce

Recipe Ingredients for Rice

3/4 cup long grain rice
3 garlic cloves
30 g ginger
1 large onion, sliced
1 leek, sliced
1 cup cabbage, shredded
60 g bell pepper, sliced
60 g mushrooms, sliced
200 g pork sausages
600 ml chicken stock
1 tsp tomato puree
2 tbsp soy sauce
1/2 tbsp sesame oil
1 tbsp sunflower oil

Recipe Directions for Rice

  1. Fry sausages in sunflower oil until browned

  2. Add onions and leeks and fry until softened

  3. Add garlic and ginger and fry until aromas are released

  4. Stir in rice and add stock

  5. Stir in tomato puree and soy sauce

  6. Add cabbage, pepper and mushrooms

  7. Simmer for 10 minutes with the lid on

  8. Add sesame oil

  9. Simmer for 10 more minutes with lid on
