Recipe Ingredients for Rice plus

1 tbsp butter
1 1/2 cups long grain white rice
3 1/3 cups chicken broth
1/2 cup frozen Peas
1/2 cup frozen corn
1 salt to taste

Recipe Directions for Rice plus

  1. Melt butter in midium sauce pan

  2. Add rice and stir until rice is warmed and golden brown

  3. add chicken broth and bring to boil

  4. add frozen peas/and corn (carrots are another option) and bring back to boil

  5. add salt to taste

  6. Turn down heat to low and simmer 25 to 30 minutes depending on how dry you prefer the rice
