A simple dinner I throw together that's balanced and satisfies hunger quickly. I use dried beans soaked overnight and then cooked (no salt), and canned, diced tomatoes, so the sodium number isn't exact here.

Recipe Ingredients for Rice, black beans, tomatoes

2 cups rice
14 1/2 oz. diced tomatoes
2 cups black beans
1 medium onion
1 tbsp. olive oil
1/2 tsp. salt

Recipe Directions for Rice, black beans, tomatoes

Saute chopped onion in 1 tbsp.until translucent. Add beans (canned or home-cooked) and tomatoes (canned or fresh). Add 2 cups cooked rice and cook for a few minutes to let flavors mix. Add salt and pepper to taste.
