Recipe Ingredients for Rice with Black Beans

1/8 cup black beans (cooked)
1/8 cup white rice
1/4 teaspoon olive oil
1 dash of salt
1/2 cup of chicken broth (low in sodium and fat)

Recipe Directions for Rice with Black Beans

Add rice and chicken broth to a medium saucepan. Add salt and oil. Mix well. Bring to a boil over medium high heat. Lower heat to medium low. Cover saucepan and allow to cook until liquid is completely absorbed and rice is thoughly cooked. Add cooked black beans to the rice. Mix well and serve.
